JOB SUMMARY

Material Handler C works under close supervision to pull, pack and prepare materials for movement through the facility and customers safely and efficiently. Will use a variety of forklifts and other moving equipment. Perform basic inventory transactions using company computer system ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, or racks by hand. Enters and maintains accurate computerized inventory records Communicates professionally with internal and external customers and suppliers. Supports an environment of continuous improvement to reduce waste and control costs. Maintains safety standards and OSHA compliance. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) HS diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months warehouse experience. Ability to maneuver 70 pounds and safely push carts, dollies, and operate other material handling equipment. Basic Math skills and ability to read, write, and communicate in English. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Experience with forklift and other warehouse machinery. Demonstrates organizational skills and attention to detail. Efficient use of computers and desktop applications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Warehouse/Manufacturing environment.  Requires a frequent amount of physical labor including reaching, lifting, carrying, twisting, stooping, and regular walking/standing across the facility.
