Reference #: 4492631 THE POSITION The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) is seeking an Investigative Analyst for its Bureau of Investigations and Enforcement. This technical, investigative work is essential to protect the public's interest through effective regulation of casinos, gambling, and related gaming. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This Investigative Analyst position performs a broad range of technical work and investigative research relating to licensure for all gaming and non-gaming applications, gaming service provider registrations, nongaming gaming service provider notifications, publicly traded corporation notifications, interactive gaming notifications, videogaming terminal gambling VGT establishment licenses, and tavern gaming licenses. Work involves conducting background checks which may include a review of credit reports, tax affidavits, records searches, and criminal history reports. You will also make recommendations for approval or denials or referral to the Office of Enforcement Counsel for further review, maintain detailed investigative case notes, prepare written investigative reports in accordance with established policies and procedures, provide testimony, and perform a variety of administrative duties to support your investigations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or An associate's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of technical or professional experience in the field of law enforcement; or Five years of technical or professional experience in a law enforcement agency; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, accounting, finance or related field.

You must have experience completing Pre-Employment Background Investigations. You must possess the ability to prepare detailed written investigative reports. You must possess the ability to organize assigned investigative work and analyze investigative findings. You must have experience conducting interviews. You must be able to travel extensively both in the United States and abroad to conduct investigations. You must have at least four years of law enforcement, financial investigative, or administrative experience in background investigations, organized crime investigations, white collar crime investigations, public corruption, narcotics trafficking or money laundering, or intelligence collection. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements:

Employment is contingent upon the completion of a Personal History Questionnaire with a thorough background investigation, including drug screening and the subsequent review and approval by the Board.
