Summary The Quality Systems Coordinator is a key position for achieving and maintaining IATF certification by being responsible for organizing, researching, implementing, and auditing customer required quality systems to ensure customer satisfaction in product quality. This position serves all departments and plant management staff in the coordination, implementation and auditing of the required quality system policy, procedures, and work instructions. Works effectively with engineers, inspectors, supervisors, and production associates to resolve quality issues, achieve team objectives and promote quality principles. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (But not limited to...) This job includes but is not limited to the following: Manage and maintain document control and internal audit documentation to assure compliance with ISO/IATF requirements. Facilitate and conduct necessary quality training of all personnel in the areas of quality systems and auditing. This requires strong oral communication skills. Serve as an internal auditor and conduct/participate in the internal audits as scheduled. Develop internal audit schedule, assigning auditors, and follow-up to ensure timely compliance. Monitor and assist with closure of corrective action for area of assigned responsibility. Maintain open communication between quality and other departments. Comply with established QMS procedures and safety directives. Follow the requirements of the Quality Policy, IATF system, and procedures and participate in the Continuous Quality process. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions in a timely manner Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries, including wearing the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Perform other associated duties, functions or work as may be needed or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company.
