Title: Software Tester

Role Overview :

The Software Tester is a complete End-to-End testing position. They will review software requirements and test cases, write new tests, execute test plans, and report the results. This will include creating testing procedure and results documents. The Software Tester will also communicate with the software developers.

On a typical day you will:

• Work as team member to concisely define and document product test requirements.

• Interact with software developers globally to provide test feedback

• Plan and schedule new product testing activities.

• Test software to verify requirements compliance.

• Support testing of software changes resulting from pilot installations.

• Validate resolution of reported performance issues

• Develop a solid working knowledge of testing environment.

• Maintain software test environment and data structure.

• Efficiently complete test plans and procedures and report results.

What You Will Need to be Successful :

• Associate degree in Software Engineering or 2+ years’ relevant experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.

• Multi-task in order to satisfy multiple customer requirements.

• Able to deliver quality product while satisfying strict delivery requirements.

• Possess strong verbal and graphical communication skills.

• Work to be performed onsite at the Otis Elevator Company Florence, South Carolina facility.

This is a hands-on position working with the latest elevator systems and devices. This position is an entry to our experienced Software group. It will be very impactful to our team's success.
