Title: Human Resources Assistant Date: 04/24/2024 Department: Human Resources Reports To: Head of Human Resources Overview: Provides administrative support for Human Resources on all personnel matters. Essential Duties: Monitor, update, and upload completed electronic employee files to UKG Maintain and audit electronic employee files on a regular basis Assist with benefit enrollment for new hires and annual open enrollment Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 records Assist with EEO/AAP record keeping compliance which includes tracking all applicants and job postings Acts as a resource for all employee questions/inquiries with regards to Human Resources Verifies employment as requested Keeps inventory of birthday and anniversary cards and gift cards and sends them out to employees on their special occasion. Monitor and order the Coffee/Tea supply orders on a weekly basis Coordinate annual employee relations events Maintain employee referral log Assist with entries on various payroll reports Assist with periodic newsletter Assist with missed punches as needed Perform all duties in compliance with BSA/AML regulations and requirements Monitors and reports suspicious activity to the BSA Officer Education/Knowledge/Experience: Software skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Internet, and Email Knowledge of employment laws and regulations preferred Strong desire to learn/willing to be trained in HRIS system Very strong organizational and time management skills to handle functional workload and multiple priorities. Able to manage sensitive issues in a confidential manner Able to work effectively and cooperatively with others building productive relationships and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction Works effectively with individuals of diverse cultures, interpersonal styles, abilities, motivations, or backgrounds Able to accurately produce a high volume of diversified work under deadlines with frequent interruptions Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
