Title: Mechanic

Pay: $36.55/hr

Hours: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am - Schedule is 2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on for nights.

What you will do:

• Equipment Maintenance:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, identifying potential issues and addressing them proactively.

• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and implement effective solutions.

• Overhaul and repair equipment components such as motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.

• Repairs and Replacements:

• Execute timely and efficient repairs, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

• Replace defective parts, ensuring the use of appropriate materials and following equipment specifications.

• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate major equipment repairs and upgrades.

• Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

• Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions, highlighting any recurring issues or trends.

• Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.

• Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role with minimum of one (1) year experience.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly

• Able to follow directions

• Excellent attention to detail

• Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

• Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in industrial mechanics.

Pay Details: $36.55 per hour
