Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team for the summer. As a temporary, part-time member of our HR department, you will have the opportunity to assist in various HR processes, dive into various HR technology (human capital management, performance management, service recognition, applicant tracking system), and gain valuable hands-on HR experience in a welcoming and collaborative environment.
Our dream intern is personable, tech savvy, and has strong written & verbal communication skills. They also have a base understanding of HR principles, strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

This position is hybrid, two days in the office (Tuesday & Wednesday) and one day remote. As a result, only local candidates will be considered.
Duration: June 17 – August 16, 2024
Hours: 24 hours/week
Rate: $18/hour
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist in carrying out current HR processes with accuracy and efficiency
Assist in the preparation of employee communications
Participate in the new hire onboarding process and provide insight on process improvement
Utilize an applicant tracking system and participate in full life cycle recruitment
Contribute to a compensation analysis project
Audit benefit enrollment against carrier statements
Approach current projects and assignments with solution-based thinking
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; senior or above
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about human resource principles, practices, and procedures
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive attitude towards enhancing efficiency and embracing new responsibilities
Strong team player with a keen interest in company culture and employee experience
Adaptability to evolving work processes and procedures
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and with professionalism
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Love to have
Recent college graduate in HR or related field
Experience in HR platforms e.g. Namely, JazzHR, Lattice, Bonusly
Previous related HR experience
Intermediate Excel skills
