The Maintenance Manager position is a key role that responsible for to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises and operation. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as equipment, electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC installations, landscaping etc. We seek a thorough professional that can lead with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be cost conscious, able to lead others, work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines while providing timely, quality work.

Responsibilities

· Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards

· Troubleshoot all manufacturing equipment and selectively bring in expertise if needed.

· Perform maintenance of electrical systems and equipment

· Assist in the setup/repair of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems.

· Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality

· Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed

· Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)

· Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide

· Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)

· Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed

· Manage 5-10 mechanics and contractors small projects as needed.

Skills

· Proven trouble shooting experience as maintenance technician

· Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems

· Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods, and software

· Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices

· Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

· Good physical condition and strength

· High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus

· Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired

Working Conditions

Faced paced, great variety of work with constant deadlines. Industrial environment with occasional dust, noise, etc. with protective equipment needed occasionally. Job may require lifting up to 50 lbs. or be in awkward positions. Must have reliable transportation. Be willing and able to work overtime up to 15%.
