About this opportunity: As the newest member of ADM’s Brand Design team, you will shape the visual storytelling of our company. Working closely with graphic designers, marketers and communicators, you will ensure that all video content aligns with ADM’s standards and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Make and Support Great, On-brand Video

  • Create a wide range of videos—from quick social hits to anthemic corporate overviews—using Adobe Premiere. While you’ll partner with the motion graphic designer on our team, a good, working knowledge of AfterEffects will be helpful.

  • Oversee the quality and compliance of ADM’s video content.

  • Collaborate with creators, providing necessary resources and guidance to produce effective, on-brand work.

  • Participate in our ongoing effort to consider how evolving technologies can better support the creation of brand content by a range of users and for a range of uses.

2. Know and Grow our Asset Library

  • Manage and curate ADM’s extensive library of owned video and music content.

  • Develop, over time, a deep knowledge of ADM’s video library, with an ability to instantly identify and find just the right clip.

  • Deepen the awareness and adoption of the video library among agency partners and ADM colleagues.

  • Identify gaps in our content and facilitate the growth and evolution of the library.

3. Be a Great Partner and Project Manager

  • Develop a good sense of ADM, its products, and services to improve the effectiveness of your work.

  • Review project briefs thoroughly to ensure clarity of the audience, goal, and deliverables, ensuring you have the inputs to help you manage an effective and efficient edit, review and delivery.

  • Demonstrate an ability to effectively interact, collaborate, and influence stakeholders at all levels and across geographies.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in video post-production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create clear and effective videos across a range of voices and aesthetics.

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud software, with fluency in current video tools and trends.

  • Experience managing large video libraries.

Personal Attributes:

  • A keen aesthetic sense and the ability to deliver clear and direct feedback and guidance.

  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of storytelling techniques.

  • Exceptional organizational and project-management skills.

  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suited for a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive problem solver with a creative mindset, able to adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment:

  • Join a globally distributed team with a hub in downtown Chicago.

  • Collaborate using Microsoft Teams and other digital tools.

  • Choose between a Windows machine or a MacBook Pro for your work setup.

Educational Requirements:

  • While a bachelor’s degree in film editing, media production, or a related field may be advantageous, we place equal emphasis on practical experience and a proven track record in video editing.

  • Applicants without a degree but with significant experience in video editing, a strong portfolio, excellent project-management skills, and demonstrated technical proficiency are strongly encouraged to apply.

Professional Training:

  • Formal training or certification in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar is highly valued. This indicates a dedication to mastering the craft and staying updated with industry standards and technologies.

Skill Development:

  • Ongoing education and enhancement of video editing skills are crucial.

  • We prefer candidates who demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to evolving video technologies and editing techniques.

Excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed? Studies show that often applicants will self-select out if they don’t check every box. We encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another one of our openings.

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
