DThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in a high paced production stamping environment. Need minimum 3 years of industrial mechanical experience. Preferred in metal industry with Punch presses, annealing ovens, Die Casting, and Slitting.

salary: $62,000 - $76,000 per year

work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments

• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment

• Proficient in rigging/lifting fundamentals required for large equipment replacements

• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies

• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results

• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests

• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

• Performs other duties as assigned

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
