We are on the hunt for a meticulous Tax Manager to join our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is centered around tax planning, compliance, preparation, and law, providing the opportunity to utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role operates within a hybrid working environment, offering the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the planning, compliance, and preparation of tax-related tasks

• Utilize knowledge of tax law and regulations to guide decision-making processes

• Display strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in handling complex tax-related issues

• Ensure attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form

• Work both independently and collaboratively with team members

• Utilize various accounting software systems to efficiently complete tasks

• Handle auditing and compliance duties as required

• Assist in the formation of entities and manage accounting functions

• Handle complex tax returns including corporate, federal income, and individual tax returns.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tax Manager in public sector

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services

• Skilled in using CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax

• Knowledgeable in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions and Auditing

• Capable of ensuring Compliance and managing Entity Formation

• Experienced in Income Tax Accounting

• Ability to handle Complex Tax Return, Corporate Tax Return, Federal Income Tax Return, and Individual Tax Return

• Must have a demonstrable track record in similar roles

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
