Wells Fargo Senior Product Manager- Small Business Lending in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Product Manager as part of Consumer and Small Business Banking. Initial project assignments will include supporting collateral and customer communication strategy and execution within our Small Business Lending product team. Working with partners in Risk, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, The Senior Product Manager's key assignments will focus on: developing new and modifying existing collateral within regulatory requirements; writing and securing approval for statement messages and inserts; implementing disclosure policies; managing inventory of printed materials and plastics inventory. In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for product management support across Wells Fargo's small business lending products, including Business Line of Credit, Small Business Advantage Line of Credit, Commercial Real Estate Financing, and Healthcare Financing.

  • Support individual Product Heads to meet strategic and growth goals.

  • Collaborate with key partners in Marketing, Operations, Technology and Risk on initiatives to grow our credit portfolios.

  • Manage compliance risk and support both internal and external Product Management audits.

  • The Small Business Lending Senior Product Manager will specialize in one or more of the following areas and will cross-train to support other product managers across a range of functional responsibilities, including:

  • Develop products and features to support the credit needs of our small business customers.

  • Serve as product subject matter experts in developing and maintain clear, compliance product collateral and customer communications.

  • Optimize the customer experience for new account originations and account servicing.

  • Execute channel strategies for new account acquisition, including solicitation targeting, banker training and communication, and digital/online strategies.

  • Implement customer management programs for existing customers.

  • Develop pricing strategies and policy.

  • Develop business cases including financial support for new product initiatives.

  • Support technology implementation to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of our business.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in credit lending either in consumer or small business lending.

  • Knowledge and understanding of communications development in financial services industry

  • Knowledge and understanding of writing, editing, coordinating customer communications

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain documented procedures

  • Strong spreadsheet skills and foundation in data and reporting.

  • Strong written and oral communication

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access) skills

  • Familiarity with regulatory and audit compliance such as, for example, Reg B, HMDA, FCRA, ECOA, Fair Lending

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Demonstrated aptitude for transferring strong core skills (communication, business analysis, process development) to new challenges.

  • Experience using business knowledge and critical thinking
