U.S. Marine Corps REGIONAL LICENSE EXAMINER/TRAINING INSTRUCTOR in Camp Pendleton, California

Summary You will serve as a REGIONAL LICENSE EXAMINER/TRAINING INSTRUCTOR in the LICENSING BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. Responsibilities You will conduct all written and road and skill tests on tractor-trailers, busses, forklifts, and other related Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME) for five Marine Corps Installations (29 Palms, Camp Pendleton, MCRD, Miramar, and Bridgeport). You will develop and prepares skill and road test routes for the above-mentioned GME. You will review applications for restrictions and annotates restrictions on the applicants license appropriately. You will ensure road and skill tests meet all requirements of Federal, State, Navy, and Marine Corps regulations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing the knowledge of methods and techniques of instruction in order to develop course objectives, curricula, instructional materials, training plans, and instructional techniques; 2) Developing and maintain training schedules; 3) Providing administrative support and maintaining historical records; 4) Conducting training courses involving safely operating forklifts, buses, heavy cargo trucks, and other material handling equipment; and 5) Performing safety inspections.
