Hiring for Utility Operators in Southern CO, pay up to $30/hour

Description:

• Operating heavy equipment on closed construction sites for the installation of underground utilities for new build construction.

• Operator will be digging trenches, laying pipe, backfilling trenches, and cutting grading.

• The operator will also be required to get out of equipment and help with all aspects of work as needed from digging with shovels to laying pipe.

• Must be willing to follow the work

• Mainly working from Castle Rock to Pueblo.

• Other potential locations: Fairplay, Cripple Creek and Denver (Must be willing to travel to these locations)

• Experience with excavators, loaders, and skid steer - Blade is a plus

• Can effectively cut grades (excavator/loader/skid) to +/- 0.10 inch

• Ability to interpret specs/drawings

• Use Level and laser - be able to shoot grades

• Able to excavate trenches for underground utilities down to 25 feet

• Laying pipe and backfilling trenches

• Able to dig around utilities and other workers

• Class A or B CDL is a plus

Pay and Shift:

• $20/hr-$30/hr

• First/Morning Shift
