B.L. Harbert International is looking for a Safety Manager for the International Logistics Center located in Birmingham, Alabama. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall safety of the warehouse facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures
  • Develop and train warehouse personnel on safety
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Manager on the correct and full implementation of safety procedures that apply to day-to-day operations
  • Perform safety inspections and audits
  • Complete equipment inspections and audits
  • Conduct employee onboarding process including safety orientation and indoctrination

Requirements:

  • US citizen

Preferences:

  • Documented continuing education, certification, and accreditation

Bachelors or better in Health Services Administration or related field.

Experience
Required
2-5 years:

Experience in the field of Construction Safety Experience with the 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Standards

Licenses and Certifications
Required

Secret Clearance
