The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Product Manager/Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join the Flight Simulation Labs - DevSecOps, Infrastructure, Tools & IRAD team located in Berkeley, MO . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Senior Product Manager / Software Engineer.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage roadmaps pertaining to automated testing efforts across the F-18 program

  • Work across test, simulation, and mission systems’ teams in order to drive automated-testing efforts to completion

  • Work with end users of the test environment to determine pain points, manual testing, and potential improvements to ensure new efforts add maximum value

  • Coordinate during estimates to understand testing approach and find ways to add value with automated testing, eliminate manual processes, and introduce testing early in the SDLC

  • Report status on ongoing initiatives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start.

Basic Qualifications for Mid-Level (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 1+ year of experience leading a software team

  • 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada

  • 2+ years of experience with automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain using Artifactory and/or Gitlab

  • 2+ years of experience with automated testing

Basic Qualifications for Senior (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+7 years' related work experience)

  • 3+ years of experience leading a software team

  • 5+ years of experience programming in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada

  • 5+ years of experience with DevSecOps and/or complex software build plans

  • 5+ years of experience with automated testing

Typical Education/Experience:

Experience Level:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior Level:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Travel:

Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced: $104,550.00 - $141,4500.00

Summary pay range for Senior: $122,400.00 - $165,600.00
