Google Technical Program Manager, Data Center Quality Management Systems in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in technical program management with data center environments, or supply chain quality management.

  • Experience with data center infrastructure and components, supply chain concepts, and principles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of quality management frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, etc.) and audit methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and root-cause analysis skills.

  • Excellent written and presentation skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The team supports systems architecture, interactions, and debug that helps innovation and automation for Cloud Supply Chain and Server Operations (CSCO) teams.

  • Ensure infrastructure and supply chain meet the standards for reliability, efficiency, and compliance.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and improvement of quality management systems (QMS), and analyze quality metrics to drive data-driven process improvements and optimizations.

  • Partner with supply chain management to establish and integrate quality standards, procedures, and metrics across the data center's supply chain.

  • Lead cross-functional projects at improving quality, reducing defects, and minimizing operational risk across the data center and its supply chain. Develop communication plans and collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, logistics, and other key stakeholders.
