Aerotek Maintenance Electrician in Belleville, Michigan

Description:

Candidate will be completing maintenance on machines that create drive shafts for powertrain components. These types of machines include balancers, friction welders, snap ring presses, straighteners, CNC lathes, electromagnetic welders, and CNC rolling machines.

Candidate will be working with 3-phase, 480V and industrial troubleshooting experience to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment.

As it is a union facility, candidates will be working on strictly electrical issues with the machinery.

Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

  • 8+ years of experience of troubleshooting PLCs

  • 8+ years of experience with 3-phase motors, 480V

  • 8+ years of experience with electrical installs and repairs in a manufacturing/industrial environment (No specific machines, just industrial)

  • 8+ years of experience with Blueprint/schematics reading

  • high school diploma or GED

  • must own their own tools - no specialty tools needed

Nice to Have:

-Journeyman Card

-CNC Benders

-Allen Bradley PLC Troubleshooting
