Johns Hopkins University Research Technologist in Baltimore, Maryland
We are seeking a Research Technologist to work under the general supervision of a faculty investigator or laboratory supervisor. Responsible for analysis of next generation sequencing analysis like ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq. Will perform translational and basic cancer research towards development of novel therapies for the treatment of breast cancer.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Analyses for genome-wide analyses like ChIP-seq/ATAC-seq/RNA-seq.
Knowledge in statistical analysis and integration analyses between these assays.
Significant contributions will be rewarded with co-authorship. The applicant will enjoy working with clinicians and lab researchers as a team.
Work at the highest levels of accuracy and precision, involving organizational skills as well as statistical performance in molecular and cancer biology.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some related post-undergraduate work experience.
