Job Summary:

This role is responsible for Blue Zones Project products focused on community and organizational transformation within the Blue Zones Project Center of Excellence. Serving as a subject matter expert, this individual will create, manage, enhance, launch, train, and evaluate the effectiveness of products to improve scalability and impact. Areas of responsibility will include supporting communities as they work to implement best practices and programs related to individual engagement, organizations (community/civic, retail foods, schools, worksites), and policies (built environment, food, and tobacco).

This individual will work closely with central Blue Zones Project and operations teams, advising on questions and needs related to product areas of responsibility. This individual will also maintain close connections to operating communities/organizations –serving as an advisor, facilitating discussions and focus groups to share and identify best practices, and understanding barriers to evolving products or operational tools.

Essential Functions:

  • Accountable for the management, development, and evolution of assigned products and operational tools that will drive well-being improvement in communities and organizations.

  • Manage the delivery of a comprehensive set of engagement offerings across multiple channels, including the Sharecare platform, online programs, and in-person programs and events.

  • Deliver product expertise, consulting, training, operational and technical assistance for other COE functions as needed, including organization transformation to communities and other clients, as well as technical assistance and services by external policy experts.

  • Lead and participate in core Blue Zones Project processes including site assessments to identify strengths and areas of opportunity, creation of blueprint/strategic plans for well-being improvement, as well as certification reviews to evaluate impact and inform ongoing interventions.

  • Provide subject matter expertise for the development, and delivery of learning programs for in-person, web-based, and experiential delivery, including colleague onboarding and post-training continuing education.

  • Conduct quality reviews and skills evaluations for assigned communities to evaluate compliance with program and performance standards.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Central and Operations teams for engagement programs, development of digital tools, community launch (discovery and planning), training, technical assistance, community certification, and other needs.

  • Support the creation of business plans for the enhancement and scalability of products and roadmap for product updates.

  • Launch new/updated products and releases and coordinate support from a cross-functional team.

  • Develop, identify, operationalize, launch, and memorialize product best practices.

  • Partner with cross-functional and community teams to understand program performance and facilitate communities of practice.

  • Actively engage with communities, industry experts, organizations, and groups to discover and integrate ideas to fuel innovation and practice, as well as share outcomes of Blue Zones Project in those same venues to position Blue Zones Project as an industry leader.

  • Monitor and improve the performance of assigned products.

  • May manage relationships with external advisors, consultants, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of combination of industry expertise for product focus area and service-based product management experience or consulting experience

  • Experience in wellness or public health initiatives, implementing well-being programs (in-person and digital)

  • Experience in public policy, government, advocacy, community organizing or related field preferred

  • Experience working directly with clients introducing products or programs, providing training, and technical assistance

  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion

  • Proven track record of prioritizing and delivering results within a dynamic environment

  • Experience interfacing with senior leaders internally and externally, serving as a consultant to team internally as well as clients

  • Willing to travel up to 15%
