We are seeking an individual with a high level of accountability and initiative to join the Corrugated Sales Finance Team. The Corrugated Sales Finance Team is responsible for partnering with business and finance leaders to provide analytical support and drive results. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Sales Leadership and Mill Financial Teams in the preparation and review of Forecasts, Budgets, Ad Hoc analysis, and periodic reports. In addition, the Manager will participate on project teams, periodically acting as the ‘finance lead’ on these teams. In performing these roles, the Manager will be expected to interact with numerous functional departments and with numerous management levels within the company .
How You Will Impact WestRock
This highly visible role will assist Sales Leadership Team and Mill Financial and Operational groups with the preparation/evaluation of monthly/quarterly forecasts & annual budgetsProvide analytic support to Sales leadership teamAssist with acquisition integration into our existing Corrugated Segment systems and reporting structureSupport month-end reporting and monthly forecasting with analysis and related comments.Prepare presentation materials as requiredWorks with the pricing team and commercial finance to quantify the segment timing and impact of pricing changes and align on pricing realization assumptions for the segmentWork with division/segment finance teams to design/produce value-added analysis and reporting for sales leadership and senior management
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in business-related field required 3-5 years’ work experience including some background in FP&ADemonstrated skill and comfort in building financial models and extracting actionable dataStrong problem-solving skills, attention to accuracy, passion for improvement, and desire to work in a team/collaborative environmentStrong Microsoft skills (Excel); previous Hyperion Essbase or similar required; JD Edwards a plusSolid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact credibly and diplomatically with multiple levels in the organization Ability to multi-task and perform at a high level in a demanding and fast paced environmentMust possess the potential and desire to advance to leadership rolesAbility to work independently, balancing routine responsibilities with ad hoc requests
