We are looking for a Business Analyst specializing in our financial systems to join our established Technology team. The Business Analyst will maintain, support and enhance various business applications, Vista by Viewpoint, we have in place today as well as be part of the team to bring the next set of business tools to our organization.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Perform troubleshooting, user setup and minor enhancements on business applications ranging from out of the box to custom developed in an evolving and growing environment.

  • Complete configuration and customization activities to meet business requirements, including basic maintenance of imports and integrations between products

  • Analyze, extract and translate business requirements into technical requirements

  • Effectively test changes and enhancements to deliver the best possible solution

  • Accurately document requirements and solutions so that it can be communicated to development resources

  • Identify root cause for commonly occurring issues and recommend permanent solutions

  • Create training guides and documentation for a wide range of audiences

  • Conduct trainings (classroom, 1 on 1, webinar, recorded) for end users

  • Identify break/fix incidents versus enhancement requests, work well with other cross functional teams to resolve any break/fix incidents

  • Be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of end users/business users

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field.

  • 3-6 years of experience in a support role.

  • Ability to quickly grasp applications purpose and understanding of it’s process.

  • Experience in system support and be able to perform root cause analysis to find out if it's a system issue, operation issue, master data issue, etc

  • Ability to quickly grasp applications purpose and understanding of it’s process.

  • Experience with Financial ERP applications/process, Viewpoint is a plus.

  • Light SQL proficiency, especially in Microsoft SQL Server environments

  • Construction experience considered a plus.

  • General understanding of SQL and relational databases preferred.

  • Self-motivated individual who can find innovative ways to solve recurring problems.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, reasoning and research abilities.

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and rock star level customer service.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and agile work environment.

  • Minimal travel required.
