Flow Facilitator, Women's Imaging - PRN

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

Under the direction of the Women’s Imaging Manager, and in conjunction with the Women’s Imaging and Radiology staff, and in keeping with unit specific standards, assists members of the health care team to schedule, coordinate, implement, monitor, and promote safe patient flow throughout the Women’s Imaging Center in accordance with the hospital’s mission and vision statements. Assist in optimizing staff utilization throughout the workday while maintaining schedule timeliness. Adjust schedule throughout the workday according to emergent patient demands. Assist in schedule preparation and schedule promulgation to the Women’s Imaging staff and physicians. Performs some secretarial duties for Women’s Imaging Department which may include answering phones, scheduling patients, maintaining records, and fulfilling records requests while adhering to legal requirements for release of information and HIPAA regulations.

Education:

An associate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

Experience:

Three years of healthcare/medical - radiology experience is preferred.

One year of experience in healthcare systems is required.

None.
