The Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Probationary - 1.0 FTE - Tenure track

Salary Range: $56,000 - $65,000

Qualifications Required:

Permanent/Professional NYS Teacher Certification in at least one of the following:

Literacy (birth-grade 6), Literacy (grade 5-12), Literacy (all grades), English (7-12), English (5-9), Childhood Grades (1-6), Early Childhood (B-2)

General Responsibilities and Duties:

We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative teacher leader who has a passion for supporting school professionals for growth and learning opportunities for literacy. The ideal candidate will be able to provide professional learning opportunities to school staff with a particular focus on supporting teachers to review and analyze data (e.g. state and teacher-made formative and summative assessment results), monitor and implement intervention strategies, and identify appropriate resources. This job will require knowledge of Next Generation standards and experience with literacy integration across content areas/grade levels and curriculum development and alignment. Candidates must have knowledge of diverse populations (e.g. EDs, ELLs, SWDs, etc.), equity and inclusion, and possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues, supervisors, and provide coaching.
